The “House of Cards” series filmed in the District of Columbia the past weekend. The city’s Office of Motion Picture and Television released a notice on the company’s website stating a mock motorcade will take place as part of the filming. Pennsylvania Avenue, Constitution Avenue and Independence Avenue were all listed as filming locations. No streets, travel lanes sidewalks were closed for the shoot.
