DC officials to honor centenarians at luncheon

Mayor Vincent Gray will be honoring some of the 200 District of Columbia residents who are more than 100 years old at a luncheon. Approximately 40 centenarians are expected to attend the annual event, held Monday at Gallaudet University. Honorees will receive a medallion celebrating their longevity and a souvenir program will be including information about their lives and experiences.
