A Virginia War Memorial will be commemorating women veterans this week thanks to contributions from a free program called “Salute to Women Veterans.” The event will be held in Richmond on Thursday at 6 p.m. The program will include the viewing of a document, “Vietnam Nurses” and a reception will follow.
