PepsiCo is closing production at its bottling facility in Hollins. The company claims the change will allow them to be more competitive, improve efficiency, and fund future investments. 30 of the Pepsi Bottling Group facility’s 150 workers will have lost their jobs, however outplacement services will be offered to those affected workers. The remaining workers will do other jobs at the facility.
