American singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow revealed Tuesday that she has a benign brain tumor. Crow, whose hits include “If It Makes You Happy” and “Soak Up The Sun,” told an audience about her condition during a concert. But the 50-year-old superstar’s representative, Christine Wolff, says Crow’s condition is nothing to be alarmed about.
The tumor is a meningioma, and it’s typically benign and develops from the protective linings of the brain and spinal cord. Wolff said that Crow is doing great and is healthy and happy. Crow, who battled breast cancer in 2006, is currently on a nationwide tour ending Sept. 9 in East Lansing, Mich.
