Oscar winner Robin Williams was found dead by his assistant in his California home, Monday. Williams was found in his bedroom suspended in a seated position with a leather belt around his neck, with one end wedged between a closet door and door frame. Some superficial cuts were found on his left wrist, and a pocket knife was located nearby. Williams’ wife claims she had seen him last at about 10:30 pm the night before; she left the house Monday around 10:30 am thinking he was still asleep in his room. President Obama paid tribute to the actor by stating, “Robin Williams was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny, a president, a professor, a bangarang Peter Pan, and everything in between. But he was one of a kind. He arrived in our lives as an alien – but he ended up touching every element of the human spirit.”
