Mumford and Sons cancels Bonnaroo performance

Mumford & Sons has cancelled their much-anticipated performance at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee.

The decision was made after bassist Ted Dwane received treatment for a blood clot in his brain. The band made the announcement on their Facebook page.

The band postponed three shows last week because of Dwane’s blood clot, but still hoped to play at Bonnaroo on Saturday night. Dwane is still recovering and not ready to play on Saturday. Rather than play with a replacement, the group decided to pull out of the festival.

Jack Johnson has agreed to take the spot and perform for over 80,000 awaiting fans.
