E! News and Style Network host Giuliana Rancic revealed Monday that she has breast cancer. The tumor was discovered during a mammogram while undergoing in-vitro fertilization. Her cancer was detected early, so the prognosis is good. She will undergo surgery this week and then have six weeks of radiation therapy.
Rancic is grateful that her round of in-vitro fertilization alerted the doctors early to her health. She says she will still push to have a baby, because if not for that she would not have discovered the cancer until possibly years later.
