Twenty-three-year-old Baltimore rapper Tyriece Travon Watson, who went by the stage name Lor Scoota, was fatally shot at a busy intersection in broad daylight, police said. Watson had just left a charity Basketball game calling for “peace in the streets” in Baltimore when he was killed. An unknown black male wearing a white bandana opened fire at Watson as he was driving in his car, police said. Watson was taken to a local hospital but later died from his injuries. Baltimore police spokesman T.J. Smith said it appeared the shooter was targeting Watson, although no suspect or motive have been identified. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward. “We are making some progress but not as much progress as we would like [in finding a suspect],” Smith said.
