Rapper-producer Dr. Dre landed a script deal with cable network FX for a one-hour show pilot. The network said the show would explore present-day Los Angeles through “the music business and the crime business.” Writer Sidney Quashie is the show’s creator, while the 47-year-old “Next Episode” rapper is the executive producer.
