CBS announced that the network is developing a reboot of the famed American sitcom, the “Brady Bunch.” Just like the original, the new sitcom will center on a blended family of eight, though CBS does plan on giving the show a modern-day spin. The remake will be set in the current era and will focus on Bobby Brady, a divorced dad with his own kids, who remarried a divorced mom—the two will also share a biological child.
Lloyd Schwartz, the son of the late show creator “Sherwood,” will team with “The Break-Up” actor Vince Vaughn to executive produce the show. “My Name Is Earl’s” Mike Mariano will write the show.
