D.C. Fire truck collides with police car

Police state that a fire truck collided against a police car on Porter Street on Wednesday afternoon. The fire truck was headed to a call when a car drove in front of it, causing the truck to swerve and hit a parked police vehicle. Both a firefighter and the officer were moved immediately to an area hospital; the police officer had neck and back pain and the firefighter’s injuries are unknown at this time, and both are expected to make a full recovery.
