A man was hit by a car, hacked to death and then dropped onto a London road in the afternoon on Wednesday. Witnesses watched as two men butchered the victim, who is believed to be a British soldier, with meat cleavers. As the victim lay on the ground, the killers found a camera and began to speak to it. “The only reasons we killed this man … is because Muslims are dying daily,” the suspect said. “This British soldier is an eye for an eye, a tooth for tooth.”
After the first call about the assault, police officers rushed to the scene. The suspects were shot when they ran towards the officers. Both survived and were taken to hospitals for treatment. The act is being seen as an act of terrorism by the British government. Prime Minister David Cameron took to Twitter to communicate his support to the country. He said, “We will never buckle to terror.”
