Senate’s passage of a veterans health bill seems to be running smoothly after an overwhelming number of senators have voted its approval. Just 20 minutes into the roll call, the tally was 92-2 to approve the legislation, while vote was still undergoing. With its passing, the legislation will make it easier for veterans who have encountered delays getting medical appointments at Department of Veterans Affairs facilities to get VA-paid treatment to local doctors instead.
