Superior Court Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Wingo found 11 Occupy D.C. protestors guilty on Thursday during a juryless trial. The protestors were found guilty of refusing police orders to step down from a wooded structure they erected in the District’s McPherson Square. Authorities said the Occupiers refused to dismount from a wooden structure they built last December at their encampment site.

The attorney general’s office said 11 protesters were found guilty of failure to obey an order, one who was also guilty of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct. A 12th person was dismissed. The protestors were either fined or ordered to make payments to a compensation fund for crime victims. The Occupier found guilty of indecent exposure was given a 180-day suspended jail sentence.
