A man was pronounced dead after being discovered by police officers conducting an unrelated investigation.
According to the District of Columbia police, officers were searching an area in southeast Washington Sunday morning when they found an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound.
Twenty-five-year-old Jarrell Garnett was pronounced dead by D.C. Fire and EMS personnel.
