Nuggets beat Lakers 137-115

The Denver nuggets hustled and bustled in the Staples Center Sunday night, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 137-115. Ty Lawson had a double-double for the Nuggets, having 20 points and 12 assists. Timofey Mozgov scored 20 points and seven rebounds, respectively.  This was the Nuggets’ second straight win after an eight-game losing streak.

Nate Robinson scored 21 points, Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried each scored 17 points apiece. Denver had 77 points on the Lakers in the second half.  The Nuggets earned their first win in the Staples Center with Coach Brian Shaw, who previously coached and played for the Lakers.
