A high school teacher from Anne Arundel County has been charged with having sex with three of his students. 29-year-old Jeffrey Robert Sears Jr. of Glen Burnie High School was taken into custody on Dec. 8. Police say he is charged with having sex with three female students between 2009 and this year. The events reportedly took place on and off school grounds.
Sears has been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor, assault, sexual solicitation and other charges. Sears was removed from the classroom Nov. 1 after school officials learned of a possible relationship. He was hired as a teacher at Glen Burnie in 2006.
