An ice-related single vehicle crash in Prince George’s County has left a man dead after the vehicle overturned near the intersection of Central Avenue and Saint Michael’s Drive in Kettering. The crash occurred around 5:15 a.m., leaving one of the vehicle’s occupants dead. Westbound Central Avenue was closed to traffic by officials while an investigation was underway. The road reopened approximately four hours later, at 9:15 a.m. The Maryland State Police have not released information or names involved in the crash. Many roads in the D.C. area are dangerous Wednesday after the snowfall on Tuesday combined with cold overnight temperatures. Several roads, bridges, and overpasses are icy.
