The British comedian announced that he would be launching a world comedy tour. The show will focus on individuals such as Malcolm X, Che Guevara, Gandhi, and Jesus Christ.
Russell Brand says the show will emphasize “the importance of heroes in this age of atheistic disposability.” He plans to perform in theatres, but wishes to perform in “prisons, drug rehabs, nationalist organizations, Mosques, foreclosed houses, protest sites, Synagogues and in people’s private homes” as well.
The “Messiah Complex” tour is set to begin August 15th in Abu Dhabi. The show will end in Ireland.
