Maryland Film Festival opens

The 2014 Maryland Film Festival is now officially underway. The event, held annually, is a 5 day festival that presents film and videos from all over the world. This, the 16th annual celebration of the MFF, and opened Wednesday night in Baltimore, and will conclude on Sunday, May 11, 2014, with the Sara Colangelo directed drama, Little Accidents. Throughout its’ duration the MFF will host showings at 8 different downtown Baltimore locations, including MICA facilities, and The Walters Art Museum. Tickets for showings are available on site, as online ticket sales have closed. “The Maryland Film Festival is an essential stop in the festival circuit.” says David Simon, creator and executive producer of “The Wire.”
