According to friend and manager Dennis Verga, the actor who played ‘ALF’ in the popular sitcom, Michu Meszaros, had died. Meszaros had a stroke last Thursday and had been hospitalized since. He died Sunday night at 76-years-old. Meszaros portrayed the alien “ALF,” and wore a full-body suit. “ALF” was voiced by another actor, Paul Fusco. The TV series ran on NBC for four seasons. Meszaros also appeared on the TV series “Dear John” and “H.R Pufnstuf,” along with small roles in the movie “Look Who’s Talking” and “Big Top Pee-Wee.”
