Taylor Swift was nominated for her third CMA performer of the year award, along with Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley. Relative newcomer Luke Bryan was nominated for male vocalist and album of the year. Best album of the year nominees were Bryan’s “Tailgates & Tanlines,” Eric Church for “Chief,” Miranda Lambert’s “Four the Record,” Bentley’s “Home” and Lady Antebellum’s “Own the Night.”
Kelly Clarkson was one of the female vocalists nominated. Lady Antebellum will have tough competition for group of the year, with the rising group the Band Perry being nominated for the award. The award ceremony will be held Nov 1st on ABC.
