Britney Spears brings veracity to the X Factor

For this season of the X Factor, singer Britney Spears will be taking up her seat alongside reality show tycoon Simon Cowell as a member of the judging panel. She has already demonstrated a propensity for a Cowell-esque judging style; blatantly honesty or callous meanness, depending on your point of view. As the show continues on the preliminary audition road, she has greeted acts with sour remarks such as, “I felt like I was listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks,” and, “I want to know who let you on stage.” She is giving Cowell, who gained notoriety for his blunt style of judging, a run for his money. However it is also evident she has the capacity to shower praise. Spears will team up with Cowell and Demi Lovato to judge this coming season of the X Factor.
