Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the United Nations about the importance of a united front. In a 15-minute speech, he implored the nations to promote a complete nuclear disarmament. “This is a real chance for every nation – to ensure that aggression against your state if it happens, God forbid, will end not because your land will be divided and you will be forced to submit to military or political pressure, but because your territory and sovereignty will be fully restored,” said the Ukrainian president.

Zelensky also prompted Donald Trump to share his peace plans publicly following a claim by the former U.S. president, who said he’d make a “fair deal” for everyone involved regarding the Russia-Ukraine war. Zelensky noted that he would not welcome a peace plan that required Ukraine to give up any of its territory.
