Free vaccinations available to Montgomery County 7th Grade

Montgomery County health officials are offering free immunizations to seventh grade students this week. Amid the rising spread of whooping cough in the county’s schools, free Tdap and meningococcal vaccines are available to any seventh grader who still needs one. Clinics offering vaccinations will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on September 9, 10, and 11. Each day, the clinic will be at three district schools, with a new set each day.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling 311 or visiting the DHHS website at
http://www2.montgomerycountymd.gov/VaccineClinic/.
