A suicide bomber along with a tricycle taxi packed with explosives rode by an outdoor World Cup viewing center in a northeast Nigerian city Tuesday night, leaving fourteen dead and injuring many more. The massive force of the explosion blew off limbs and knocked people over. Police Assistant Superintendent Nathan Cheghan confirmed the explosion and said rescue workers were being careful for fear of a secondary explosion, since the Boko Haram group usually plan secondary explosions to kill people who rush to the scene of a bomb blast. Although there is no lead as to who is behind the deadly bombing. FIFA offered their sincerest condolences by stating,” “We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident in Nigeria. FIFA condemns any form of violence.”
