Cyberespionage gives China United States secrets

0

US officials denied the idea that China used cyberespionage to gain information about the designs of American weapons. George Little, press secretary for the Pentagon, explained “Suggestions that cyberintrusions have somehow led to the erosion of our capabilities or technological edge are incorrect.” Little spoke in response to claims by the Washington Post, which cited a confidential report by the Defense Science Board. The report supposedly listed a number of weapons whose secrets had been discovered by the Chinese through cyberespionage.

Cyberespionage is causing a lot of worry from members of the Government. Representative Mike Rogers (R-MI) explained to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer “The viciousness, and just the volume of attacks, not only by the Chinese but Russians and others trying to get the blueprints of our most sensitive material is just breathtaking — and they’re getting better.”
