The man connected to Friday’s shooting near the White House, Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, has been taken into custody. Ortega-Hernandez is in the custody of Pennsylvania State Police following his arrest at the Hampton Inn in Indiana, Pa. around 12:35 p.m. Wednesday. Ortega-Hernandez was captured without incident after an employee recognized his image and called police.

After facing an extradition hearing in Pennsylvania court, Ortega-Hernandez will be returned to D.C. He was sought by authorities following reports of gunfire near the White House on Friday night. On Tuesday, the Secret Service discovered bullet holes in the exterior of the white house, including one that was stopped by ballistic glass.
