A bill that would decriminalize sex work in Washington, D.C. has come to an end after a 14-hour emotional hearing and thousands of emails expressing concerns regarding the issue. This bill that started its journey in 2017, has revealed a deep divide between the residents of the District. Council Charles Allen says that the bill lacked the support to be passed by the committee and cannot move forward at this time.
