The 37th annual Marine Corps Marathon will take place in the District on Sunday, October 28th. A record 46,000 runners are participating this year, competing in the marathon, a Marine Corps Marathon 10k, and the Healthy Kids Fun Run. The race, which is one of the largest in the nation, sold out in less than three hours last March.
Beginning Thursday, there will be events associated with the race.
