William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have announced a visit to America in December. The short visit, from December 7 to 9, will focus mainly on engagements in New York. While the Duchess remains in New York, the Duke will visit D.C. to attend an anti-corruption conference at the World Bank concerning illegal transportation of wildlife. While in New York, the couple’s itinerary includes attending an NBA game. They will see the Cleveland Cavaliers play the Brooklyn Nets as part of the launch of a new campaign supported by the Royal Foundation, United for Wildlife and the NBA. The couple’s last official visit to America was to California in 2011. It is unclear whether the royals will bring their son, 1-year-old Prince George on the visit.
