National Park Service installs interactive kiosk at Jefferson Memorial

According to the National Park Service, officials will be installing a new feature at the Jefferson Memorial to have visitors share experiences related to their favorite national parks. The innovative and interactive kiosk will be installed on Thursday. The new addition is part of a “Find Your Park” campaign, to encourage people to learn about and connect with the 407 national parks across the nation. The display will ask visitors to not only share their stories, but also recommend new parks to visit as well. The National Park Service and the nonprofit National Park Foundation are collaborating to reach a younger, more diverse audience to engage with the parks. The two organizations are working hard to build stronger public support for the parks and raise capital for maintenance purposes.
