District of Columbia police continue to investigate a fatal stabbing that took place in Northwest D.C. Friday morning.
The incident occurred on the 5300 block of Georgia Avenue NW around 2 a.m., leaving a woman dead and a man injured.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital. The woman was pronounced dead and her identity as well as details of the man’s condition is not yet disclosed.
No details have been released regarding a suspect or a motive.
