Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams reports that a referee swore at him during Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. “When you have a ref come up to you at the line about to run a play and call you a — excuse my language — a garbage [expletive], disrespectful [expletive]to me, this is a player’s league I just don’t think there’s no room for that,” Williams said. “I think it’s very unprofessional and it sucks, I’m at a loss for words.”
Williams said that the referee’s uniform number was 81, meaning it must have been Roy Ellison who spoke to him. He added that coverage of the game could be reviewed to see Ellison talk to him. “If you rewind the play, you can see him walk by and say something,” Williams said. “You’ll see me turn around and say: ‘What was that?’ ”
