A DC man has been implicated in legal documents related to a Philadelphia corruption scheme. The Washington Post reports that individuals with knowledge of the investigation confirm that the unnamed man described in the files is Tom Lindenfield, 59. Lindenfield is a political consultant who was until Thursday a member of mayoral nominee Muriel Bowser’s (D-Ward 4) campaign staff. The investigation is into an alleged conspiracy to secretly and illegally funnel $1 million into Rep. Chaka Fattah (D)’s campaign in 2007.
