A federal lawsuit has been filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of the Nation’s Capital due to Officer David E. Bailey, Jr.’s attack of young boy inside of a Southeast D.C. elementary school. ACLU attorney, Jennifer Wedekind claimed that Bailey grabbed the 10-year-old by the back of the head and slammed it down onto a cafeteria table.

According to the lawsuit, Bailey became frustrated when the young boy began talking to his classmate while Bailey gave a lecture. After slamming the boy’s head into the table, Bailey proceeded to grab the boy by his shirt, threaten him, and drop him back into his chair.

The boy suffered from minor headaches after the incident, but no charges have been filed in the case.
