Drunk man found sleeping on porch in Virginia

A 37-year-old Arlington man was arrested early Thursday morning after he was found sleeping on someone’s property in Lyon Park. The incident happened on the 200 block of N. Fillmore Street. The homeowner stated that he woke up just after midnight to the sounds of someone attempting to open the front door. He went downstairs and discovered an unknown man apparently passed out on the porch. The man was arrested, charged with being drunk in public and held at the jail until he sobered up. This past Saturday, in a similar incident, a homeowner in nearby Ashton Heights discovered a 22-year-old Arlington man fast asleep and covered in vomit in the dining room.
