Mayor of Jersey City, Steven Fulop, received a suspicious letter containing religious literature, a picture of Tim Tebow, and an unidentified white powder. When authorities were notified, City Hall was evacuated, and emergency response teams surrounded the area.
It was reported that the powder was harmless, and authorities still do not know the origins of the letter. CBS New York reported: “There was also a letter inside, which sources told the newspaper contained “spiritual stuff; heaven stuff,” along with a picture of the former Jets quarterback. But the exact contents of the letter were not revealed to the newspaper pending investigation.”
