Major League Baseball is reportedly investigating New York Yankee superstar Alex Rodriguez following media reports that the third baseman was involved in two high-stakes poker games. “We take this very seriously and have been investigating this matter since the initial allegation,” said Major League Baseball spokesman Patrick Courtney. RadarOnline.com first reported that Rodriguez was involved in two high-stake poker games in November 2009, once in Hollywood and the other weeks later in Miami.

The report is the latest controversy surrounding Rodriguez who admitted to using steroids in February 2009.
