Metta World Peace has signed a two-year deal with the New York Knicks according to Yahoo! Sports. World Peace was waived from the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this month. The deal is worth $1.6 million per year.

World Peace was one of the Lakers players released from the team because of an amnesty clause created in 2011. The forward is a 14-year veteran of the sport.
