Adam “Pacman” Jones of the Cincinnati Bengals was arrested on Monday for allegedly punching a fan. Cincinnati City Prosecutor, Charlie Rubenstein confirmed Jones was arrested on one count of assault.
According to Jones’ agent, Peter Schaffer, Jones was at a Cincinnati bar when he was approached by two intoxicated women. The women asked for a picture with the defensive back. When he declined, one of them hit him with a beer bottle, prompting Jones to slap her. Jones defended himself on Twitter, declaring “Just got arrested for protecting myself, I will not let this break me or change what I have work(ed) so hard for….”
