The House has added a new amendment that might undo the current DC gun control laws. In 2008 Supreme Court decided that the residents of the District will have to register handguns every three years, complete a safety course and be fingerprinted, among other requirements. Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky introduced a new amendment, on Wednesday, that will get rid of all that. The fate of the amendment depends on decisions made between the House, Senate and White House.
