Santa Claus made a stop at the Children’s Inn at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, riding in on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a entourage of Montgomery County motorcycle police officers. The Children’s Inn offers sick children and their families a place to stay and have some fun in their lives as they undergo treatment. Santa Claus visited with the children, listening to them talk about their lives and giving out gifts to everyone. The children also had the opportunity to shop for their families, free of charge, at the hotel’s “Gingerbread Gift Shop.”
