Maryland – Trash hauler pleads guilty to bribing Baltimore employees

The owner-operator of a trash hauling business has plead guilty to bribing Baltimore public works employees and was sentenced to three years in prison Tuesday in federal court in Baltimore. According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office said 50-year-old Quentin Glenn has also been ordered to pay more than $300,000 in restitution. Glenn was the owner and operator of a trash hauling business, Glenn Services LLC. According to prosecutors, Glenn bribed employees of Baltimore’s Department of Public Works to get out of paying a fee of $67.50 per ton of trash deposited at the Quarantine Road Landfill and to get rid of any records of him visiting the landfill.
