Walmart will be sending rapper Pitbull to Alaska. The Miami rapper, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, will be sent in an effort to help a Walmart store in Kodiak, Alaska get more “likes” on its Facebook page. The store, which has more than 35,000 “likes,” is already leading the Facebook contest with other Walmart sites. A Walmart spokeswoman said Kodiak has a “significant” lead in the contest, but voting is open until July 16. The “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” rapper seems to be taking the contest in good nature, tweeting Saturday: “I hear there’s bear repellant at Kodiak, Alaska.”
