Paula Deen controversy over photo of son in brownface

Paula Deen has come under fire again for a photo of her and her son Bobby dressed as Lucy and Ricky from the 1950s comedy “I Love Lucy.” In the photo, Bobby’s face is painted a darker shade than his hands. The picture has since been deleted from social media, and Deen’s spokeswoman apologized to anyone offended and said that Paula Deen Ventures is no longer working with the social media manager who posted the picture. The photo was from a 2011 Halloween episode of “Paula’s Best Dishes.” Paula Deen lost her contract with Food Network two years ago after using a racial slur.
