The Los Angeles home of rapper and producer Kanye West was burglarized late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning. Police have yet to confirm if any of his property was taken and there is presently no information about a suspect. The hip-hop star was overseas with Jay-Z for their “Watch the Throne” tour during the break-in. West, who’s rumored to be dating reality star Kim Kardashian, has been trying to sell the three-bedroom house. Kardashian, 31, also has her L.A. home on the market.
But that wasn’t the only news the 35-year-old star, who is famous for songs “Through the Wire” and “Heartless,” received Wednesday. According to West’s representatives, he is also in the middle of a Twitter scandal. An image of a naked woman eating fruit in a hotel room, who was first thought to be Kardashian and later discovered as adult film actress Amia Miley, was tweeted from the rapper’s account. The photo was quickly removed, and West’s team claim that the tweet, which “never occurred on his account” was not sent by West.
