Smokey Robinson announced on Sunday that Bobby Rogers, a member of the singing group The Miracles, has passed away. Robinson made a statement describing his sadness saying that, “Bobby Rogers was my brother and a really good friend”. The two shared the same birthday and remained lifelong companions. The Miracles were a group signed with Motown Records and produced songs such as, “I Second That Emotion” and “The Tears of a Clown”. Once Robinson left the group, The Miracles produced the No. 1 hit, “Love Machine” in 1976. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
