VIRGINIA NEWS – Arlington house explodes during police search warrant exercise

A house in Arlington, Virginia exploded on Monday night shortly after the Arlington County Police Department shared a post to social media about a discharged flare gun in the residence. As the officers tried to exercise a search warrant the suspect allegedly fired several rounds from inside the home when an explosion broke out.

Some officers reported minor injuries following the explosion. Arlington Fire and EMS were on the scene and responded to the fire.
